Happy Independence Day from all of us at Hasty Hills Farm!!!It has been a busy, yet exciting year so far.We recently returned from the AA show in State College, PA where Light Touch, Snap On, and Cuddel Muddel all won championships. Congrats to those horses and their wonderful owners. HORSE SHOW JULY 10 AND 11!!! This week, we are busy preparing for our annual horse show.It is a great event every year and we are excited to offer two big classes on Friday afternoon starting at one o’clock.We are pairing up with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates of Western New York to present the $300 Hasty Hills Farm Mini Hunter Derby.This will be an exciting and fun filled class both for spectators and exhibitors.Following the derby and the jumper divisions, we are also presenting the $200 Hasty Hills Farm Jumper Classic.We are offering this class at two heights this year to open it up to more horses and riders. On Saturday, we are offering a full Southdown’s Summer series hunter and equitation schedule. We have great prizes and awards to give out and it should be a great day for everyone.We are starting with the baby green hunters at 9:00 am, and finishing with the low hunters and advanced equitation division in the afternoon.We are very proud to offer a TB and non TB special hunter sections (sponsored by America’s Fair and the Erie County Agriculture Society).Here at HHF, we have always felt very strongly about giving off the track TBs a second chance and showcasing their beauty and athleticism.We also donate the proceeds of this division to an adoption agency for Thoroughbreds.During the show, please visit some of the vendors that we have coming.We have a custom chap company as well as a tack shop coming to the show. Also, this year we are a USHJA affilliate horse show. Our two medal classes are point classes for the USHJA Outreach Medal Program.
